How to care for my Freshwater Pearl Jewelry?

Freshwater Pearls are delicate organic gemstones, but treated with care they will last for many years to come.

❈ Clean gently after wearing. Wipe with a soft cloth to remove perspiration and prevent damage to the pearls' lustre.

❈ Store your pearls separately to prevent scratching from other jewelry. Loose pearls should be stored in a soft bag with a drawstring.

❈ Do not store in strong direct sunlight. Over a long period of time daylight, will cause the colour to fade.

❈ Wear your pearls often to prevent drying out. They love your natural skin oils but avoid excessive sweating. Long-term storage can cause dehydration—pearls are meant to be worn!

❈ Avoid harsh cleaners, as they can damage the pearls.
